Episodes that were so bad they almost made you stop watching the whole show.

It was the last episode of season 1, too. Season 1 was literal perfection aside from this episode. Why the fuck do writers think EVERY main character needs a love interest? Is it so the cartoon will appeal to girls more? Treeflower's entire character is "girl". That's it.

If you think modern SpongeBob is bad, then you need to take a look at the SBSP Fanon wiki.
If you want a good idea of what kind of autism is on this wiki check out the End of My Soul: https://spongebob-new-fanon.fandom.com/wiki/The_End_of_My_Soul

Like that Simpsons episode where that film editor proposed finishing the Radioactive Man movie with terribly spliced in footage of Fallout Boy/Millhouse to complete missing movie scenes but instead using the decades of recorded The Simpsons cast members dialogue?
There has to more than enough by now to cover nearly every spoken common word by now.

it was the cookie cutter "new character shows up and acts like an asshole behind people's backs but nobody believes one of the old characters when they call them out on it" episode. It was made even worse by the new guy not getting his comeuppance at the end and the guy who was right all along not getting acknowledged by the other characters.

I started losing in Foster when the series started, where the show became less whimsical, Bloo turned into a jackass for no reason and everyone started acting like parodies of themselves. It was barely like the film anymore, the only similarity being the art. I only kept tuning in irregularly for a few episodes like the one where Mac and the others fall in love with Franky and Bloo's left home alone but then I stopped. I only came to check again for tv specials and movies.

I started losing interest in Regular Show after that one, and only came back when they introduced CJ who actually had character unlike Margaret, only for them to toss her aside and making me quit altogether. But seriously, your "best friend" makes you take a dump in front of everyone because you wouldn't spend time with him and all the while has others record it and laugh at it the next day with everyone, and he calls that a "solid"? And yes I get the solid turd pun bullshit, but a solid is supposed to be a fucking favor. That's not a favor. Its a fucking disturbing command. And the idiot bird actually forgives him for potentially ruining his social life because he snaps the stupid tape after letting everyone watch it. Bravo JG.

Really, any episode of any show where the theme is fart/poop jokes.
I realize I'm not the target audience for them, not being a child and all, but they really are awful.

The episode of Hey! Arnold that made me stop watching was the episode where Arnold learns martial arts and beats up a kid who looks intimidating and was actually trying to ask him for directions. It made such an impact on me while the kid was walking away, crying and beaten with ripped clothes and completely dejected, that I was never again able to sympathize with Arnold.

I was trying to watch every episode of Billy and Mandy in order for the first time, and was sorely disappointed with the episode Who Killed Who?, an episode that not only was about hammering home a feminist message, but was also willing to break characters to do it. Good thing the series generally keeps status quo, so I can just pretend it never happened.

That's one of the biggest mysteries to me to this day. He came off as such an awesome friend in the original, and than just suddenly was a selfish asshole to everyone. Even his best friend.
