I don't base my tastes on the score all of the time (I have guilty pleasures that are as low as 4%), but It's not worth it if it does nothing to contribute to an already good franchise that didn't need a reboot to begin with.

David Harbour is a good actor, but what I wouldn't give for Hellboy to be British for once…

Why? If you are talking about the character, it does not makes sense as he was raised in American military bases. If you are talking about the actors, there is only minimal difference unless you are a teaboo. There is plenty of bad British actors, but burgers are just not exposed to them too often.

I'm of the mind that if you wanted to do a good adaptation of Hellboy it should be episodic. Majority of Hellboy stories aren't really that cinematic.
