Did Morlun really kill the Spider-Man of 1602?
That nettles me perhaps more than it should.
There's something about Marvel letting a J. Michael Straczynski character kill a Neil Gaiman character that just isn't right.

Morlun did kill him, though Neil Gaiman only wrote him as Peter Parquagh. He wouldn't be seen as the Spider until Greg Pak's 1602: New World #4.
