You forgot to mention there was a 70s Stan Lee cameo. Funny that I think Captain Marvel cameo was the best Stan Lee cameo there was while the film itself was trash. Good thing Captain Marvel played very little in the film at the beginning and end, but was still the worse parts. She destroyed Thano's ship that was attacking the heroes with a volley of blasts and also stopped the second Thano's snap.
Other than that, it's about standard Marvel fare with cameos and remember what happened before in the previous MCU films because it's going to change moving forward. Valkyrie is going to be the new "king" of the their home planet as Thor buddies with the Guardain's of the Galaxy. Cap hands the shield to Wilson. Tony Stark is dead so who is the new face of the MCU and please don't say Captain Marvel. I think this is the peak at how "good" MCU could be and it's going to decline until they integrate x-men in 5 years and their will be some surge of interest when that happens. I'm sure the MCU will continue until I die but the hype can't last forever.

After thinking about it, I'm not really sure about the logistics of the time travel. Everything done was suppose to create an infinite loop that was the 1 in 14 million chance that Doctor Strange created so everything that has happened so far in the MCU will happen for eternity. An infinite war if you will. What I don't get is how the 5 year gap is accounted for. I might have missed a line or two but I was sure they said that everything that has happened to them so far can't be undone, in their timeline as they say.
With the infinity stones you can pretty much do anything but I don't think I heard a line that said they erased the 5 years that did happen. If they did, the daughter that Stark raised wouldn't be that age at the funeral. Peter Parker going back to high school at the end would only make sense if the 5 year gap didn't exist. I'm sure they showed age altering like they did with the baby antman scene but I can't see how they could make it work without getting rid of the 5 year gap. I'm looking back on scenes that say that the 5 years is still in place like with fat Thor being a thing at the end. Also if they go into the past, they could accidentally meet their alternate selves so they have to avoid them and I'm sure they were still at their headquarters during that 5 year gap when they were mopping after losing to Thanos.
Also, another complaint I have is they showed less of the aftermath of how people coped with having half the population erased. We only got to saw a therapy scene and some constructed mourning monuments. Not enough chaos of villains running rampant with less police and heroes to deal with them. I'm might be able to catch it upon repeat viewing when it comes to BD and could be wrong on all this but that 5 year gap in time seems like a problem when you think about it and what happens at the end and moving forward.

Just gone done watching the movie, chinese camrip one day early (thanks chinks!) I'd post a link but it seem to have been taken down, a real shame since the quality was quite good for a camrip. Honestly, it was pretty good, certainly the best Marvel flick since GotG, potentially as good as Avengers 1. You could tell that Captain Marvel was written in at the last minute, her presence is sparse and a couple scenes are obviously cut together. There's also the token 'girl power' shot where all the female heroes squad up and roll out but it's just there to please journos and other unsavory types, not really anything worth noting.
Overall I did actually like it; it wasn't horribly quippy, there were a few genuinely good moments, and I have to say I (almost) shed a single tear at the death of Tony Stank. Somewhat looking forward to Guardians 3 ft. Fat Thor but the other setups seem terrible as usual.

That's because Carol as Captain Marvel has been written as an unlikeable dike. Her movie was pushed hard and now Marvel is trying to push her as the MCU's lead when that title should naturally go to Thor. Thor is going to be with the GotG, who are another likable group of characters, so that's going to leave a huge gap in the MCU now that Steve and Tony are gone.
Carol could have been written as likable, but that would mean that Captain Dyke would have to go and Marvel can't have that.

Captain America is aged to an old fucking man hands the torch off to Falcon to make him the new Blacktain America instead of his firend and war buddy Bucky. We then get a flashback to Cap dancing in the past with his fiancee in his golden age.
Other things that pissed me off include the fast and loose rules they have with Time Travel bullshit including Nebula kiling her past self and facing no repercussions.
Highlights included no one in the mildly packed theater enjoying Captain Marvel scenes, and the biggest reaction she got from the crown was when she got her cunt punted by Thanos.

Its especially dumb because we already got such a moment in Infinity War during the Wakanda battle and it felt way more interesting there, because besides Scarlet Witch, none of the characters have superpowers in that scene and they face an alien creature way above their powerlevel.

It depends. If you've seen the other movies, this one really does act as a closer to the entire series. It's really easy to just go watch Endgame and then feel satisfied enough to be done with the MCU. Other than spinoffs, like whatever spiderman and the gotg are doing, there's nothing that can top the infinity war. The xmen and f4 aren't here, so that means no Galactus, no Phoenix, no Onslaught, etc. If you haven't seen the other movies, you aren't going to feel any closure.
