What do you expect any actors with actual good looks go to Hollywood or become models. Television gets the shit end of the stick and that goes for Netflix too.
>Batfleck
Gotta agree. He was always too much of a pretty boy to play and old gruff Batman.
>Erza Miller
>prominently square jaw
Nigger that's a triangle.
>without the added muscular definition to make it look good
It's not that, it's the fact that his Jew genetics bring the entire upper half of his face down.

Because among casuals he's a reoccurring joke but among comic fans he's nothing special compared to Batman or Superman. Even Green Lantern is more liked. So there's not really much for them to ruin in most people's minds. But I will argue that any kind of race swapping with actors is still bad.

The only reason they picked Jason Momoa was because he was the only one that demanded to be Aquaman. Something-something about Aquaman needing to be an Islander or something, since then the WB has been stuck with him but are reluctant to get rid of him because he's still a recognizable name.

The focus on "realistic PTSD" was the whole fucking problem. The Punisher doesn't have PTSD, he has PTSD gifted as a god damn super power. It's not supposed to be a commentary on real life, it's supposed to be a cathartic experience of him ripping bad people to pieces without a moment of guilt about it. Literally the most "punisher type" action sequence in the entire show was delivered by the fucking bad guy.

Was John Wesley Shipp good as the Flash?
No.1039864
>>1039860
I liked him. He was always a bit more intense than the new Flash when he was in costume, but the present Barry was motivated by an old tragedy, while old Barry's reason for fighting crime was having his cop brother murdered in the pilot, so Schipp Barry was full of rage. Where Gustin Barry is more of a sad, empathic guy who just wants to stop anyone else from suffering like he has, old Flash wanted to kick ass. John Wesley Schipp said in an interview back then that he used to "Zen out" when he was in costume. Good actor, I always thought he was one of my favourite weird cool 80's chill white guy actors, along with Matt Frewer and Peter Weller.

Man Without Fear was published in '93 but it was written as far back as '88. It was even planned to be a TV movie. Trial of the Incredible Hulk was supposed to be a backdoor pilot for a Daredevil series so this was probably the outfit they'd designed for it

I know the executives on Affleck's Daredevil tried to strongarm the director into giving DD a black costume because they thought people would get him confused with Spider-Man.
And give him a pirate hat.
So the director put Affleck in a red suit and shot all the action scenes in fluorescent lighting that turned the suit black on film, and as the only rushes the studio executives were watching were the fights, he fooled them. But he still had to fix the pirate hat with CGI in post-production, which is why it looks weird when he takes the mask off.

No.1040451
>>1040428
Yeah, like a fucking bandanna, a do-rag, you know? But with horns, which makes no sense. A hat like that is supposed to be just a way of tying a piece of cloth around your head with a knot. So the mask is a hanky with horns?
So the director went back with CGI and filled in the rest of the mask to turn it back into a cowl.
I guess the executives wanted the Dread Pirate Roberts. Stupid idea, nobody has ever got Spider-Man and Daredevil mixed up. You put DD in black and with the horns he looks more like Batman.

Which was the best live action Spider Man? I know a lot of people tend to say Tobey Maguire was better as Peter Parker while Andrew Garfield did the Spiderman part better.
No.1040644
>>1040643
That's pretty much it. Tobey captures the perfect image of Peter Parker. This weird looking awkward dork with an apt for science. While Garfield nailed the quip master aspect of Spider-man. Then there's Tom Holland. He doesn't capture either aspect well enough because the writing for his character isn't writing him as Spider-man or Peter. They're writing him as just some kid with a magic suit that can do anything.
