I would agree if not for half the comic being about how proud Fred was of having two surrogate gay dads and that his real father was a piece of shit. And to be honest that could have worked if done right, except for the fact that entire flashback was based on some bullshit theory claiming that ancient gay people were essential to the survival of primitive man due to acting as the parents/caretakers of prehistoric kids.

Although the comments aren't showing up on this crappy archive and the original link is down, but they were pretty relevant to this topic. An actual faggot in the comments even pointed out the flaws in the comic but the other commenters basically called him a self-hating fag for "betraying" his own kind and rejecting the theory. And the theory in question is also mentioned in the article. Also sage because we don't need to keep talking about that preachy comic and focus more on the shit state of the Flintstones as of currently.

If they really wanna make the Flintstones shine again, they should have Genndy T. do another Flintstones animated movie or a new series. The man's shitty vampire movies and Samurai Jack proved unimaginably popular yet CN and so many others refuse to realize what a valuable asset he is, and Adult Swim basically screwed him over even after it became apparent SJ proved far more popular than they could ever hope to dream of.
