It is currently pride month and the bible has a lot to say about pride, in Obadiah 1:3 it says "The pride of your heart has deceived you" and Jesus told the story of the pharisee praying to HIMSELF about how he is a just man unlike others and a tax collector humbling himself before the Lord and the tax collector going home justified.
This is why I believe pride is evil and there is nothing to love about ourselves. We must beg for mercy from God and acknowledge how corrupted we are. This is why there should be no Pride month.

I feel like the culture is starting to backlash against this "woke" and "pride" stuff, and at its root, a great yearning for deep spiritual truths. I pray we can lead this momentum into a knowledge of the need for repentance and forgiveness. Maybe God will spare the judgment we know is otherwise coming, if our nations would just repent of this disgusting affront. We have to stand against the lies of the world, even when they vilify us for it. I've lost friends for speaking truth, but I don't regret it.

On the one hand you are correct. On the other hand, the US traditionally has 7 or 8 colors for the rainbow, compared to the gay 6 colors. plus, while I'm not big on numerology, I find it funny that the homos take a symbol with a perfect number usually associated with God and make a mockery version. Just as they take a blessed image of God (male and female together in matrimonial, sexual unity) and extremely distort that.
All-in-all, it's something to think about, though obviously not to dwell on.
