That said alot of the Christianity arising in the East and in the third world is the heretical sort (prosperity, oneness pentecostal etc) so might not be anything real. Pentecostalism is espicailly popular overseas, just as it is in America and I'm suspicious of it, because it seems to lead pretty easily to oneness and because of the foolishness I see among pentecostal believers

Christianity is too widespread and too deeply embedded to be competely go away. We are overgoing a crisis of values and of faith but it will be over once. Religion is making a comeback in the west, which means that people are hungry for more than the current liberal materialistic freedom-idolater establishment can offer. As such it is inevitable that christianity will make a comeback, because its a very good and refined religion with top notch theology and itbhas Jesus too, who is very significant.
