The fear of the Lord is to hate evil. Proverb 8:13

What is that in application regarding sodomites?

I can't help sense disgust when I see them and it shows on my face. Presuming I'm not in the workplace, what should you do?

I ask because I get the impression our tendency is to be too courteous. If I saw a pregnant woman drinking I would immediately confront her. Is there an intrinsic difference here?

Can you think of another scenario that demands your action because of the eminent evil, between adults?

Hatred towards their vile acts, love to them by preaching the cross

In the most literal terms, what does that look like?

Telling them "repent"?

Yes. A Christian love is one where you want those around you to be saved. Think about it, that's the best thing that can happen to anybody so hoping they are saved is literally wishing the best thing possible for them. And the way they get saved is to have faith in the Lord, to repent and sin no more as He told the adulterous woman. Tell them about the gospel, help them to understand Jesus' love for them and pray that they may open their hearts to Him.

What if they're a reprobate, but it continue to have regular contact with them. I have zero hope of them repenting, do I still tell them their error?

Yeah, why would you lie to them? Of course don't be a sperg and constantly shoehorn it into every sentence, but speak the truth and don't hold back. Always pray that they might find God one of these days, He brought them into your life for a reason after all, and He doesn't make mistakes.

Sometimes it is possible to fall into sin and come out of it more humble.

Homosexuality is one such sin. The problem is that we removed the shame that comes with such an act.

Humility however is the basis of all other virtues, which is exactly why satan has manipulated homosexuals into adopting pride.

if you can make homosexuals humble, you can lead them to the lord, but first you must crush PRIDE.

> If I saw a pregnant woman drinking I would immediately confront her. Is there an intrinsic difference here?

The difference is that you have not-yet been beaten into forced tolerance of pregnant woman pounding liquor. This propaganda is already being shoved down the public's throats by the same jarnlists who manufactured consent for all the other moral freefall of modern society.

If they're reprobate they'll never find God.

It's not obvious in scripture that all who participate in homosexual acts are reprobate in that sense.

>Telling them "repent"?

If you correctly define repentance. The repentance for the fag is the same for the whore and the liar: believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.

Firstly I would direct you towards more baptist preachers: jesus-is-savior.com has a wonderful archive of old baptist preachers. Also look into Cherubim Church, Sanderson1611, Ralph Yankee Arnold, BBC International, Robert Breaker, Beyond the Fundamentals, Jacksmack77, Renee Roland, and Ashfin Yaghtin on youtube. Joseph Prince, while in the charasmatic camp, is more on the IFB side of soteriology. That is these all agree with the biblical doctrine of faith alone, and that repentance is a change of mind rather than "turning from sins," which is works (even according to Jonah 3:10).

And I mention Steven Anderson, who if you don't already know, teaches gays can't be saved. While teaching the true doctrine, I'll tell you why I believe this is error.

Homosexuality was a sin worthy of death.

It's either Leviticus 20 or 18, but there are two places that mention homosexuality, saying that homos should be put to death.

Deuteronomy 21:22-23 says that those that sin a sin worthy of death and are hung on a tree are accursed of God.

Jesus literally died like a homo, which proves he died for the homos as well.

Galations and Acts both say that Jesus was hung on a tree. And Galatians goes on to expound that he was accursed of God fulfilling the curse of deuteronomy, so that the curse would not fall on those covered by the blood of Christ.

>Homosexuality was a sin worthy of death.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our LORD

<that we should teach them to likewise hate evil and repent

<and those that do not repent should be driven forth

<because the fear we should carry of the Lord is because of what he DOES to evil
