How can I live a Catholic and Saint life in the modern world ?

So far, I'm unemployed, lost my job 2 months ago.

And it feels like that the only way to get another job is to lie, scam and fraud. Being a white collar in 2020 seems the exact opposite of a Christian life.

I have no issues with being a celibate, fasting and etc. But my friends, the modern world pushes you in the exact opposite direction of Christianity.

Being honest , manly and cultivating Christian values won't land me a job in the Corporate World. Imagine when I openly state that I'm a Catholic ?

The Modern World is terrible and it pushes you in the wrong direction on every single interaction you do.

It's an interesting cross we bear in modern times. No famine, long lives, even our poor are relatively wealthy compared to Christ's time.

Yet, the world is so full of sin. Had I my druthers, I'd become a hermit. Working is the least of my problems unless you're applying for a job as an abortion doctor, a democratic campaign worker, or a Mafia thug.
