Invalidate the bible's claims?

I'm having a lot of issues with this OT god and NT one. They are quite different.

OT: Carnal, requiring man made things to dwell in, Abusive relationship

At this point I feel like the only correct view of the bible is a gnostic one.

God is perfect Justice and perfect Mercy.

The OT takes a long time-span so there is plenty of human error to be subjected to judgement.

In the NT in Acts, Ananias and his wife fall dead for lying, its quite similar to OT stuff.

Gnosticism is compatible with the bible, as the epistle of Jude clearly condemns it.

Both Gods are the same. Their is incredible forgiveness, patience and love by God in the Old Testament but because people are so soft nowadays they get scared by the harshness of realities.

Conversely, what God does in Revelations is way more brutal.

The man made things were to get humanity disciplined. Man has made much progress on many things, like slavery and war, that they weren't ready to do without as much back then. God gave them what their primal brains could handle at the time - rigid structures and discipline.

Do you want truth, or just whatever comfortable? The bible offers truth, Gnosticism offers what man's extremely limited hard disk space can concieve as "good."

Life and the world are abusive. Do you want a world without abuse? Submit to God's law and his will and preserve through the rest of your days, and you will see that world.
