This is what currently bothers me the most about young Earth creationism: how can the glaciers be so tall, often 2 miles tall, when the Noah's flood supposedly happened so recently. The glaciers should have started to pile up only after the flood, and we have observed that they currently pile up much slower than necessary for that to be possible.

Something like radiometric dating could much more easily be erroneous if some of the axioms are wrong, some of which almost certainly are. But this, it's much harder to explain.

It could also maybe be possible that God created the glaciers during the 7-day-creation and they stayed intact during Noah's flood.
