I often hear libs say something like "Jesus would accept refugees" and I don't know how to answer that. Would he? Would he not?
On the one hand, it seems obvious that he would because he taught selflessness, love and acceptance. On the other hand, refugees (implying not women and children but grown men who make the majority of them) are often questionable and dangerous people who will NEVER integrate or assimilate and will absolutely hurt the native population in the long run. And there is also the old testament in which God tells jews to love and help foreigners in their country. But again, I believe OT jews would never let any pagan foreigners in their country unless they converted and fully submitted to their customs and law.
And then you have the catholic pope who went full refugee shill overdrive.
So which is right? What would Jesus say and do?

The 'refugees' of today aren't refugees. They are parasites that are brought into our countries by our governments in order to destroy their ethnic and cultural structure. They aren't fleeing war (politicians here have even started to demand to let 'climate refugees' aka more africans into our country) and they have no intention to return to their home countries.

>Jesus would accept refugees
Only jews and atheists say that. Jesus would call them out for their bullsh*t. He would point out the chaos that will follow. All of what >>825516 said really. No good will result from mixing every culture together in small countries. The Pope doesn't have to systematically take the migrants defense. He could also advise them to not leave their homeland and family behind, and he could speak against the people who help them travel in dangerous conditions in exchange of ridiculous amounts of money.

These terms are always very ambiguous. You shouldn't act with unwarranted hostility towards immigrants or refugees. The Bible is quite clear about that. However, this doesn't mean that you shouldn't strive to maintain the ethno-cultural composition of your land. Of course, this is tricky in the New World, as there's no hard link between American countries and ethnical groups, but the general cultural makeup of those countries ought to be preserved.
So in the end, charity commands you to accept actual refugees (which are like 1% of those coming to Europe/US) but there's no problem in setting stricter control for economic-based migration. On the other hand, it's certainly sinful to act with unprovoked hostility towards a particular immigrant.

They're not coming as "refugees". They're coming to steal, rape, murder and destroy.
The Old Catholic Church recognized the right of the state to defend the people against such invaders.
