1. named individuals ("jesus")

2. named groups ("the twelve")

3. anonymous individuals ("man with a withered hand")

4. anonymous groups ("the pharisees")

5. nature ("the fig tree")

6. spiritual individuals ("satan")

7. spiritual groups ("the demons")
