Non-TLM churches aren't inherently liberal. Reverence all depends more on the community and Priests more than anything else.
Keep in mind that V2 mass has been in place for over 50 years at this point. Even a lot of conservative Catholics are kind of just used to it at this point. I go to my local church (which doesn't have TLM, but is in an oldschool Italian neighborhood) and I see women in veils at a V2 mass.

Don't put too much emphasis judging the people rather give more credidence to the doctrines of the churches. Otherwise you'll bounce around church to church due to every scandal.
For example if they allow female priests or gay marriage, contraception, etc. That would be a redflag.

Red flags from my times in cucked churches:
- Positive opinions on John Hagee, Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, or anyone attached to the Gaithers.
- Women anywhere in clergy. Anywhere.
- Emphasis on pastoral authority. A lot of supposedly Protestant churches are trying to set up Catholicism-lite.
- Prosperity Gospel.
