What this guy >>814171 said, but also realize that God doesn't always speak to us with words. An example from my life that actually just happened over the past two days:

>sign up for marrow donation registry a year or two ago

>get call yesterday saying I'm a potential match

>on the fence now, it's one thing to say "yeah I'll help" and another entirely when you get that call

>unsure, I ask God to let me know what His will is for me

>today, get a call from the registry

>patient is no longer searching for a match

>I don't need to go forward with any more testing or anything
