What’s the difference? Does the definition of sin change between the Old and the New?

This was answered very poorly. The Old Covenant was between God and the Israelite people. The New Covenant is for all in Jesus Christ.
Old Covenant is Judaism, New is Christianity. The reason it is better is that the Old Covenant was a legal institutional system. God gave laws for the Israelites to follow, which are recorded in the Pentateuch (Pentateuch = Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy). The only problem with God given laws is human corruption, and the Israelites became corrupt, often pretending to do what the law said, but nullifying it in practice. Matthew 23 is a good overview of Christ's objections to the Pharisees.
As a result, Christ came to earth to give us a new kind of religious idea; that faith in Himself as being the Son of God, and Charity towards God and our neighbors was the path to salvation. This avoids having a law-based religion and all the problems that such a system brings.

This is a fairly good explanation.
Also remember that God established a covenant with Adam and Eve after the Fall. Also with Noah after the Flood. The Mosaic covenant was way after those two events, but for some reason many Juadizers worship the Mosaic covenant.

So the New Covenant is better than the Old Covenant basically because it’s easier to keep?

it is harder
27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[a] 28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

It is better because it is the only one in effect.

We get to eat bacon under the New Covenant.

Yeah but in the same sermon he says to be perfect. Obviously in the New Covenant you don’t have to follow God’s commandments perfectly to be saved. So then how is it not easier?

Why would he own up to it when as a mod there is literally no evidence unless someone arbitrarily took a screenshot?
