I don't know. I can't put it in words and present it to you on a plate. If I could define "why do I believe", I would also define at the same time "what would make me stop believe", but I fundamentally cannot do the latter, so I don't think I can do the former either.

Well, I would say that Christianity when compared to other religions has points of strength that others lack. Many religions postulate a lot more which is unverifiable like reincarnations and various different heavens and hells in the Vedic tradition. Jesus on the other hand is very succinct, and always taught by saying "the kingdom of heaven is like…" rather than wasting time with too much metaphysics.

But overall, the reason for my belief is that one day I found myself between hope and despair. It wasn't dramatic, nevertheless I found no reason for either choice, I just chose what I thought was best.
