>I receive witness to its truthfulness with every rising sun.
True, but the witness he's talking about is a very distinct experience of God.A baptism in the Holy Spirit is a supernatural and undeniable revelation from God that Jesus is lord and savior. I've had that experience once over 20 years ago and it's the only reason I'm a Christian today. Everything else associated with Christianity has failed. The church in all its million denominations has revealed itself to be corrupt. Long and deep study of the bible has revealed that it is a flawed work and the claim that it's the complete and infallible word of God is a lie.
If it weren't for the night that I was baptized in the Holy Spirit, I would have no reason to have faith in the God of the bible. But since I have experienced that moment of salvation, all the other disappointments and revelations don't have the power to drive me away from God. Until you experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit, you just have an intellectual devotion to God but afterwards your salvation will be far beyond the reaches of your mind
