celibacy until marriage

vs.

celibacy until you find the 'right person', (but aren't married)

That's called chastity, no sex or sexual thoughts or actions before marriage, and the "right person" is the one you'll marry, sex outside of marriage (and outside of a specific situation within marriage) is sin. Celibacy is choosing to never marry. Chastity until marriage (if marriage is your calling) is praiseworthy, celibacy while giving yourself to God is even better. Let him who can receive it, receive it.

If you want to risk your future with some slut that may or may not lie to ruin your life, you are a braver man than me.

If you want to live stress free while looking for the perfect christian woman, than both of you can wait until marriage.

If she is happy to wait until marriage for you, than she is more likely the one.

There isn't much to debate here.

You have to be virgin (man or woman), marry and then have sex inside marriage open to procreation.

Unless you are a protesto-heretic, there isn't much to debate.

If you find the right person, just get married. Dating for 5 years+ before marriage is a stupid modern meme. I believe that the RCC recommends one year of dating/courtship, or whatever you want to call it, followed by 6 months to a year, at most, of marriage prep. As long as you both understand what marriage truly is, then you don't really need to spend so much time finding out if you really are morally compatible with the other person. If you're both built on the same foundation, then you already have the equivalent of what would be years of bonding time for a heathen couple.

There's also the romantic, idealistic element of waiting for the one person you want to spend the rest of your life with. If you want a woman to solely love, then you probably wouldn't want to go around having sex behind her back. But really, what's the difference if you have sex with others before or after you meet her? You're still having sex with people who aren't your wife. Most people don't understand this at all. It makes me laugh my ass off when I see people say "I'm monogamous, I only have sex with whoever I'm dating."

If you're more of a pragmatist, there's also the statistics. Non virgin women are way more likely to divorce you and have basically fried their oxytocin receptors which makes them unable to bond to you properly. Cohabitation also leads to a higher risk of divorce.

There is literally no argument you can make in favor of premarital sex other than "muh dick." it's worse on every metric.
