He said that it was a meta-physical philosophy based on materialism biology, which is absurd and that it was the ideology of the presocrates but that Socrates said that it wasn't something material (air, fire or water) but it had to be something immutable, immaterial and spiritual. I'm not sure if Socrates explicited the idea of God, but there are the elements of it here.
