Lutheran here. Check out this "revival" movement happening in my home town right now. It's pure ridiculous heresy. I am disgusted. Please pray for an actual revival of people going to real churches and not this. I am also curious to fellow believers thoughts on this whole thing.

Hey, Florida-Man here. I live in Tampa but I have had some friends just post about The Send yesterday. I agree that one day "revival" events are nothing more than total schlock with almost no lasting power but what do you actually think about it? You want to hear our thoughts but we would also enjoy to hear yours so that we can converse about it.

If anyone comes to the faith seeking constant emotional experiences or trendy settings, it's doubtful they have true faith in the first place.

Because eventually the emotionalism will fade and the trendiness will get old, and those attracted to that will leave for something else.
