Hello. I currently a Baptist, born and raised, baptized when I was 10 in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit in a river flowing with water like the Jordan where John baptized. I love the Lord Jesus Christ and want to take up his call to separate myself from the world, so I believe I want to become Amish. How should I approach them about conversion since they have no tehcnology to communicate? I an wholly prepared to remove myself from the world as it is because, well, there are just too many homos and infant killers walking around nowadays and it is starting to make me especially sick. It seems that these people have become demon possessed and I want to remove myself from them. Does anyone have more info or advice to help me? I deeply want to be Amish.

The Amish are pacifists and your hatred of the world doesn't jibe with Amish beliefs. If you go to the Amish and say you want to convert out of hatred, then you will be turned away.

Being pacifist just implies you're against war and violence.

You can still feel anger society's decadence.

But I don't believe amish is the way, I think monastic life is similar but perhaps more proper. Although I understand OP's theology to be more Anabaptist and closer to the Amish.

This is something you 100% have to ask them in person. Nobody here is Amish, and they do t have any websites for converting (for obvious reasons). You’ll need to go to Amish country and ask them
