The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

would it be bad, blasphemous or heretical to refer to Jesus or God as my father?

I don't think so. God is usually referred to as our father and even if Jesus is the son of God he is still God.

God is our Father, so no. Now since Jesus is the second person of the holy Trinity, he is not our Father in the absolute sense that God the Father is, yet because Jesus is our head pastor he could be called our father in that sense, although be careful with how you use it since we don't want to confuse others into Modalism.

This. Calling Jesus your 'father' will likely come across as a bit dodgy depending on who you are speaking to. It may also give the wrong idea of who God is to a non-believer. It might be a good idea to say 'heavenly father' if you're trying to refer to God in general and not The Father, or else people might think your earthly dad is … well I don't really know.

matthew 23:9

And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

The Father is the Father. You might hypothetically say Jesus is as a father to humanity as well since He was the means through all creation was accomplished but He's refereed to as a sibling to the saved.
