The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Are you really a Christian if you vote for politicians that support abortion and LGBTQ rights?

It's an untenable position. As an American I think that I'm correct in regarding the Republican party as essentially godless as well, for myriad other reasons. The problem is there isn't anything the Republican party does that is morally equivalent to state sanctioned massacre of innocent children. Being caught in a reprobate two-party political system is suffering, but there's no excuse for voting for anti-life, pro-homosexual politicians. Period.

Why does the Catholic Church only care about shekels? They will throw boys attending a pro life rally under the bus but they won't say a word to all these supposedly "Catholic" immigrants that are coming here to vote for the anti life party.

>voting matters

Of course one should vote the "lesser evil" but what if the system is rotten to the core. What if the system itself is the issue?

If you vote for someone they are almost certainly hiding something or not going to be true to their word after they are elected, can you state one politician who has followed his word fully after he as gotten into office (excluding satanists who legalise abortion and any other anti-christian practices).

And if they are going to be true to their word and faithful to the Lord, do you really think that (((they))) will allow them to get elected, and once they are elected they won't threaten them and their family?

Both sides are evil or something to that effect

4ddeab  No.764083

Both sides here support it. I don't vote either way because I want politicians to winnie the pooh themselves. Not gonna waste my time putting a cross in their names.

No, you're not

This is an area that nobody has room to talk against evangelicalism

I'm inclined to agree. But at the same time, I'm compelled to be a one issue voter at least (abortion). There's a war going on.

>Are you really a Christian if you vote for politicians that support abortion and LGBTQ rights?

Nope. Unironically voting for these issues to stay legal is satanism. It violates the whole 'love your neighbor' parts of the commandments God gave us.

Baby murder and sodomy will never be justified by God.

Remember the humbling words of Jerimiah 29:

>4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;

>5 Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;

>6 Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished.

>7 And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the Lord for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace.

And because (((democracy))) is participatory, it is up to us Christians to keep the peace by voting for such. Voting it's self isn't a sin, but not voting agianst said issues makes you just as guilty as those that voted for it.

A Christian supporting abortion is similar to a Christian burning the Scriptures—or, worse still, a Christian denouncing Christ, yet still calling himself a Christian. It is a fundamental contradiction; an absurdity.

2503b9  No.764210

>support abortion

you're not

>LGBTQ rights

Depends on which rights. The right not to get thrown off buildings? Or imprisoned? Probably OK.

The right destroy the meaning of marriage? The right to graphically and explicitly force indoctrination on kids? Gender reassignment on prepubescents? Probably not.

Yes. Libshits are still crying.

Sure. We should do what we can. I was just suggesting that just voting will change nothing and that the tide will eventually overwhelm us if we just vote "conservative".

>I already voted conservative so I have done enough

That's what I dislike. Shaking it off as "i have done enough because I threw a vote somewhere"

Liberal democracy is a dead end

354141  No.764338

>>764083

This you are not even likely to find a party big enough to oppose LGBT/abortion since even "christian" parties nowadays often shill for lgbt

No, just catholic at that point
