The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Humans to download souls onto microchips so can 'live forever'…

And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. (Revelation 9:6 KJV)

http://archive.today/2019.01.19-174823/https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/754342/science-news-microchips-live-forever-ai-immortality-richard-skellett

Richard Skellett, a founder of Digital Anthropologist and an expert for Future of Work, has warned of a future in which British workers have chips inserted underneath their skin. And Sweden-based firm Biohax told the Sunday Telegraph that it is in discussions with several British companies about microchipping. Speaking to Daily Star Online, Mr Skellett explained: "There's a lot of talk at the moment about microchipping employees and there are some companies that are actually doing that." Chips will be able to store medical data and other personal information. Mr Skellett added: "Living forever might sound crazy at the moment because the technology isn't quite there, but we already have the technology to clone. "Our home security being breached whilst hackers know we are on holiday or at work is a risk too far."

No, we won't. This is just the soyim of California raised on sci-fi thinking this is even feasible.

Just like self driving cars and global warming, it's prelest that helps them make money.

>This is the bread which cometh down from heaven: that if any man eat of it, he may not die.

Why the winnie the pooh people are still looking for the answer for immorality damn it.

There are some crazy dude who have been preaching the Way for 2000 years and people still reject it.

For zero dollars you can live for ever vs 10 billion dollars to make humans get to live as much as Adam if they are lucky.

cloning flesh =/= "copying" souls

Why is this even a thread…?

… It's NEVER going to happen.

I thought he was talking about "brain uploading"? Which is uploading the structure and content of your brain into a computer so it can run and be preserved for a long time. Isaac Assimov made a novella about it.

God made thermodynamics work in a way incompatible with eternal life for just this reason. Living forever is physically impossible, discounting sci-fi rewrites of our understanding of the laws of physics.

For an atheist materialist, anyway. Also even if you could transfer a mind (you can’t) this would be an option for winnie the pooh you wealthy people (billionaires and up) for the entirety of our lifetimes.

Jarnlists transform everything they write about into something completely different. Fill your heart with Christ so it cannot be filled with mainstream media.

>wealthy people (billionaires and up) for the entirety of our lifetimes.

The first instant ramen cost over $20. In the 19th century the world's wealthiest men wore wigs to hide their male pattern baldness instead of getting hair transplants; now middle class men get hair transplants if they feel like dropping the cost of a middle class commuter car.

"Mind uploading" - assuming for the sake of argument it actually happens - would depend on developing a firm grasp on the concept of human consciousness. Not done yet! And when it does finally happen, your mind on a USB stick would just mean that sinful men with vast wealth can attack you in whole new ways beyond your control.

AIDS drug provider pulled a normal business move and then got crucified for giving pozzers a hard time.

EpiPen provider gouged people with an entirely unearned vulnerability to sudden death, and was celebrated by the same modernist elites who demonized the man who gave AIDS spreaders a hard time.

I've talked to two different fans of transhumanism who have talked hopefully of downloading their personality into a computer. In both cases I asked them how exactly this would count as immortality, since the real person would simply die anyway, and at best you'd be left with a digital clone. It certainly doesn't count as living forever. I should also note that both of these transhumanists were portly fellows who absolutely have not put all their effort into living longer.

How exactly would you digitize the human soul though? I'm curious what encoding scheme (((they))) even come up with. They sound extremely foolish and naïve if you really think about it.

The mind isn't the soul either. This would be the creation of a new individual who happens to look like you and have your memories.
