The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Is it orthodox to believe everything in the universe is already determined, that every action I will ever take is already foreordained and that everything little thing that ever happens is already set in order because God designed to world to be the best of all possible worlds and no better world than the one we live in can exist because it's illogical, yet at the same time because I am an independent conscious being with my own internal motives I still have free will because I'm not a robot? Is this orthodox?

No. Sage for dumb question.

If you're the same poster who made "How is matter not evil?" thread, I'm still waiting on a reply from you.

Au-disgusting and C*ntvin believe more on the concept of a dual will regarding humans: the fallen will of people which cannot choose God (nor do they want to) yet God can use them for His purposes. And there's a divine will which God solely provides to a believer. The exclusively way to obtain the latter if God gives it to them.

However, Calvinists say that the person who still have the fallen will shall receive judgement…for acting upon the desires which God not only allowed but directed (in the sense of time and location) them to do.

This is probably the most illogical theological of predestination. If a murder kills someone with a hammer, is it rational to blame the tool?

>Is this orthodox?

It's not even rational. It reads like some mid-IQ's judeo-pagan pseudo-intellectual gibberish. Empty your brain of pop-culture garbage and then try to understand Christianity.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.

Lamentations 3:37-38 Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has ordained it? Do not both adversity and good come from the mouth of the Most High?…

Proverbs 16:9 The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

Proverbs 20:24 A man’s steps are from the Lord; how then can man understand his way?

Proverbs 16:33: The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord.

Proverbs 19:21: Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Jeremiah 10:23: I know, O Lord, that the way of man is not in himself, that it is not in man who walks to direct his steps.

Romans 8:29 — “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Ephesians 1:5 — “Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,”

Romans 8:29 — “For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

I Peter 1:2 — “Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.”

Romans 8:28–30: We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the first-born among many brethren. And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Ephesians 1:11 In [Christ] we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will

The first part of your post is correct but the thing about best possible worlds I'm not too sure about. Now, what you said probably isn't orthodox but it is biblical.

You just proved that you're retarded.

>If a murder kills someone with a hammer, is it rational to blame the tool?

You have to understand that everyone that is in hell is there because of their own sin and on the other hand everyone that is in heaven is in heaven because of God's irresistible, irrevocable and unmerited calling into grace as per Romans 11:29. This means that there are those God leaves in their sin without giving them a way out as sin God never draws them so that they can be raised up on the last day as per John 6:44. So it isn't irrational at all. I haven't solved the question of free will and Gods sovereignty. We see that God seemingly causes people to sin in genesis 50:20 and acts 4:27-28 but this just means that it is a mystery. The type of standard that you are using people are done to other parts of the Bible and Christian doctrine and ended up either deny the trinity or Christs dual nature or just our right leaving Christianity. Everyone loves the fact that the bible is a mystery intil it's something that effects them like in the case of predestination. Have faith and trust in God and you will be saved.

<Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 5:1

I love the way you quoted Romans 8:28-30 like you didn't even just read it. It could go through each verse one by one but in response I'll ask you, what does acts 4:27-28 mean?
