The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

The March for Life is on Friday, January 18. I think it'd be good for us to manufacture some designs for it considering it's a decently large, normal-friendly event.

All designs are welcome, but some things should be considered. I've spoken to someone who had a miscarriage concerning the topic. She is pro-life but said that the billboards that said "your child could've grown up to be this" reminded her of her miscarriage, so I would avoid stuff that inadvertently alienates people who aren't considering abortion (of course don't be a spineless doormat though). The ends do not justify the means.

Anyways, have fun designing propaganda, and see you at the march!

I'd go if I didn't live 2 hours away. I watch it on EWTN.

I'm ok with intelligent, considered propaganda; but those people waving around fetus gore does nothing but drive otherwise fence-sitters away. Torture porn shouldn't be used as propaganda.

Thanks for the white pill image. I've been really depressed lately.

Back when the Ireland abortion vote was happening, there was a documentary posted here about a irish church / pastor fighting against it. Does anyone have it? Ive been looking for it on youtube to no success.

Are you talking about the priest that said the fags that voted for aborting had to go to confession?

Idk, it was of a relatively young church trying to work against abortion.

We ought to focus on love for life, not hate for people who support abortion.

Here's art showing the beauty of the fetus. It's an effective way to turn fence-sitters.

http://100photos.time.com/photos/lennart-nilsson-fetus

Here's another problem with the gory fetus pics:

>The majority of abortions in 2015 took place early in gestation: 91.1% of abortions were performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation

https://www.cdc.gov/reproductivehealth/data_stats/abortion.htm

Would it be too much of a power level display if we color-coordinated ourselves for identification? We're not /pol/ but I heard they wear red caps to identify each other at parks. This could have potential but also could backfire horribly.

Here's the direct link for the statistics. Print this out in bulk and hand them to the normals. If you have any pastebin dumps please post them, we need all the verified statistics we can amass.

God bless you all. It's pretty sad there are so-called Christians even on this board who are lukewarm or simply don't care regarding the abortion topic. There are so-called Christians that are more concerned with arguing for legalized marijuana than for protecting the innocent born. Thank you OP for sharing this, I'll do everything I can with all that I have to March for Life this Friday Jan 18th.

It's the truth. Why filter it against liars who romanticize murder?

b0b300  No.757147

Don't mean to sound defeatist, but wherever abortion has been legalized the law won't change. Most of the places where it hasn't been, it will in the coming decades. In time, post-birth abortion will start to be pushed (what argument for abortion can't be also applied to newly-born?). Euthanasia will also become mainstream, and once everyone can marry anything the whole concept will be abandoned. Technology will soon allow for lunatic eugenics. Sex robots will become the "perfect" companion fantasy. People will continue to try and make a god out of the state in totalitarian enterprises and most will be narcissistic nihilists. The coming centuries are going to be very dark indeed. It's difficult to go and march when you have no hope for positive systemic change in this generation.

So we should do nothing?

b0b300  No.757155

>>757148

Probably not, I think I'm being moronic.

ca6f60  No.757158

>>757146

I think primarily because it's actually against the law in some places to publicly display "visceral or profane images". It's the same reason you can't have a license plate that says "F*CK YOU". It doesn't do anyone any good if you get arrested and your sign removed. Might want to check local laws.

Further, what good is having a sign like that if the audience you're hoping to reach will simply look away. How will they hear the message if you make the message such that nobody wants to hear it? There's a reason nobody takes the "God Hates Fags" people seriously. They make a mockery of those of us who genuinely wish our message to be heard. Out there is the real world, not an image board where you can say "lol gb2 reddit" when the court slaps you with a fine or even jail time for waving an offensive sign. Their side will see it as a victory for "abortion rights".

Realistically, yes, you're right. But God-given morals are independent of whatever society pushes. Every individual who drives hours to DC to protest in cold weather is an individual who is willing to stand against a national travesty. Don't beat yourself up for it >>757155, I know the probability of the law changing is low but it's important to stand against this not because of what changes immediately, but for what it means. Don't give up.

>>757146

It's murder at all stages (never forget this; all at any time abortion is murder) but most abortions happen early so it's not as gruesome as depicted. See >>757141

>The majority of abortions in 2015 took place early in gestation: 91.1% of abortions were performed at ≤13 weeks’ gestation

There's also the issue of women who have experienced miscarriages possibly being affected by it. Make of that what you will.

We want to frame it as love for the beauty of life, not about vitriol for the morally degenerate.

Reminder to post pastebin link dumps with abortion statistics.

Abortion regret statistics

https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0128832#sec013

>Women experienced decreasing emotional intensity over time, and the overwhelming majority of women felt that termination was the right decision for them over three years.

5ae72d  No.757172

If anybody says something along the lines that pro-choice doesn't force you to get an abortion yourself, but let's people who want abortions get them remember the issue is not you being forced to get an abortion. The issue you have is people legally being allowed to murder.

Why don't pro life families seek for and adopt kids that are born in unfortunate conditions or rejected by their parents instead of making their own?

e12818  No.757276

>>757239

Why not both?

36df05  No.757288

>>757239

we were told to go forth and multiply, not go forth and adopt. Now adoption is an admirable action, but most people would like to first try to have kids of their own flesh and blood.

ce4559  No.757322

>>757276

Because it's a good thing to devote our whole selves to charitable works. Besides what's the point of creating more kids when the world's population has multiplied in an incredible rate?

>>757288

But Paul also said it's good for a man not to touch a woman. Adam and Eve had to multiply because they were the only human population in the universe.
