I believe we continuously enter into the Dark Night until we are able to make it through to the other side. Indeed I also see these nights as liken as our earthly cycles. We have a winter of the Soul where in our nights are long and vacant of any sense of light. There are times of decay, where our leaves that where once blossoming with fruits are now withered and departed. Yes, this may imply a Spring, where our Soul leaps towards the promises of Love that are God calls us to. And yes, the Summer a time of ease, bountiful of the harvest from soil that we tilled.
But this cycle, is it endless? Of those saints, as John is. Who have contemplated the fullness of Christs love, would that be the end? What is next? Or is that for the Heavenly to know?
