The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Everyone always assume that it is only Catholic vs Orthodox but what if the Oriental Orthos or the Nestorian Church is right?

Yea them and the Armenians and Persians and Indians too.

None of the two allows for the full comunnion of the human nature with God. As in, Christ not taking humanity in its fullest.

The Oriental Orthodox don't really have a good case, they're basically Orthodox who cut themselves off from the rest of the Orthodox world over nothing

It was more like the Tome of Popr Leo looked like nestorian theology to them so

So the Chalcedonians threw the Patriach Severus and Discorus out of the church for Beliveing in Alexandrian theology which has roots in St Cyril

I feel it most resembles my idea of what early Christian practice may have been like.

With eastern orthodoxy there appears to be a more institutional vibe. Also since most people aren't Deus vult tards it feels like a safer option than to empower another would-be globalist proselytizing force in the absence of western Christianity.

For example say what you will about having the most correct doctrine but aside from the fact that most laity probably don't have an competent understanding of it, there's also the historical circumstances into which the churches people are baptized into as infants have spread. It could be said that the spread of such churches has come about in a not so holy manner.

In Guatemala in somewhat recent years there were mass conversions to Syrian Orthodoxy of previously charismatic groups, largely of Mayan communities. Perhaps this has been a more proper induction to the faith than the historical way in which came about at the hands of conquistador forces (see: the parable of the sower).

Eastern Orthodox Churches have also had a presence.
