Satan has full control of the world now. I keep telling people that Christianity and technology on the scale we have does not make any sense. You cannot reconcile the two, since technological progress is inherently evil and Christianity means to love God. There are way too many contradictions between the too. If anything, US politics in the Middle East are winnie the pooh leading to the refugee problems we see from those places in the first place. Also read the account of Abraham bargaining with God in Genesis 18. The people of Sodom deserved judgment

God later makes the provision to save the only righteous family in the city when they number fewer than 10

All this to say that I am NOT accountable before God for evil actions of my state that I'm not involved in. The state is an entity with it's own interests that don't necessarily represent mine.
