For training apps, I recommend an app called "personal training coach". It has both SL and SS in it as well as 5/3/1 and Madcows 5x5, plus it automatically calculates the weight and everything. Sorry OP, I had a huge store of /fit/ infographs before my HD failed.

I've been doing stronglifts 5x5 for close to a year now, seeing some good gains. I'd highly recommend it as a beginner program. Also, Gregorian and orthodox chants are high test and great for lifting. Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, we must respect these gifts from God.

I've been enjoying it. I switched whenever I kept stalling just barely over 1pl8 OHP. It's been a good 2-3 months now and I've added a good 15-20 lbs on it. I ended up also stopping squats when I got to 3pl8 because my pants weren't fitting anymore, so the workout seems to go a lot quicker too. If you ever go back to SL, the dude has an app (called Stronglifts 5x5) that is excellent.
