So I live in a major US city, we have a handfull of Orthodox churches. One i really like is a Greek church a couple streets over from the gay part of town, but i don't see any visible degeneracy. They have the liturgy down and its done in a very nice and beautiful church. The problem is its pretty far from where i live. And our city is so huge there really isn't a community, new people every sunday and church Thots. There is a Russian church, but i haven't been because the church is far, very small and the website is not in Russian.
None of these churches really have anything on conversion in their websites or in their liturgy pamphlets on Sunday. Howevern, there is a OCA church in town. They have a really nice catherderal and their website has a dedicated section to conversion. Now i know i could always just ask the priest, but i am anxious with people I've never met, who speak broken English. Especially since im coming from a southern Baptist background.
It seems that this OCA church is my best bet, but ive heard 'bad' things about the OCA. Like they are corrupted by tptb
