I recently became reinvirograted in faith and have been reading the Bible, bettering myself, and trying my best to walk in accordance of God’s rules. However, due to this, I have noticed that my friends are juveniles and hypocrites. They are the type to mess around and talk smack about others. They curse (I did too before I became reinvigorated) and some drink and do drugs. I see their descent into more and more sin. My best friend - who calls himself Christian - has become detached to me and now does drugs despite promising to God to not until after college. What should I do, I can’t just keep taking it and see them trying to edge me on to do things. Help me brothers and sisters.

Last sunday I had a service on a relevant topic. Read Numbers 33: 50-56. Basically God instructs Moses to go in, and either kill all the inhabitants or DRIVE THEM OUT. And also to destroy all idols and anything that will distracts them spiritually (pictures, images, etc).

Notice verse 55-56: But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

56 Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.

Right now you have to drive them out of your life, if they refuse to change for the better or continue to edge you. Otherwise they will (and they are) thorns to your sides and pricks to your eyes.

Try to draw a line first for your friends about what you will and will not do. Otherwise if they don't respect it just drive them out of your life.

More a less the same with me although my colleges are better than yours. Talking to them it's an endless shitpost. Normally I just play along until they start talking about sexual shit or baspheming Christ and then they call me Hitler because I btfo their retarded philosophy everytime.

My best pal calls himself a Catholic but sleeps in the same bed with his girlfriend.
