I didnt, as I am not a Scandinavian.

And dragon heads were typical Scandinavian decoration.

Asides this, no, using something as symbol of something negative, doesnt make object automatically evil. Like Serpent being both used as negative symbol in the bible (at Garden), and as positive (Bronze serpent; Jesus using it as symbol of wisdom and so on). This includes the Dragon that was used as a symbol for Order of Dragon, a mixed Catholic-Orthodox military Order fighting against Ottomans.
