I mean Cathodox people venerate art but they don't say that these things are perfect and infallible like the IFBs do with the KJV. Baptists think that the KJV is literally Jesus Christ.

2. Steven Anderson was f saying you should worship a book, he even tossed the KJV around a couple times to emphasize that you shouldn’t worship a physical point. He was (poorly) making a point about every word of the Bible being the word of God

7. We have like fifteen different threads something out about the KJV right now. It’s not healthy to obsess like this over something you don’t believe in (that also applies to Baptists who constantly make mariolatry threads)

Baptists think that the KJV is the infallible Word. It doesn't matter if they don't literally bow down to it, they put the work of men's hands on par with Jesus Christ. That's idolatry, plain and simple.

Jesus Christ only is infallible, not a pope, not a statue, and not a translation.

Half of these are made by people who couldn't respond to the arguments in favor of it so they made a new thread in the hopes of getting away from the discussion and changing it back into an echo chamber where everyone is attacking it. I wouldn't be surprised. It's the same guys who make the bait threads where they flaunt their idolatry.

I do not like Protestantism, I dislike KJV rants but I seriously doubt somebody considers KJV to be God,bows to it or makes sacrifices to it.

I find it especially funny when KJV onlyists emphasize the "authorized" part, since "authorized" there meant what today we would call "copyrighted".
