The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

How is it after all these years, there is still no chart like this for Christian literature?

Ok let's do it.

Start with the Bible, then subapostolic literature, then sayings of the desert fathers.

It would be different depending on whether you're Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant. There are a lot of different Christian reading charts though, just not in the "Start with the" series. I feel like those are made more for sterile academic interest, while a Christian reading list might have several different intents; history, spirituality, theology. I've seen countless versions of these same charts with books shifted around and swapped out with others. There's such a broad corpus of texts to read depending on your tradition that nothing can be agreed upon besides the Bible, and even then we don't agree on a translation.

Here's a few more I've collected over the years in case anyone's interested. I can't vouch to the quality of any of these, I've never actually read through much of them, and some of them start to get into outright gnosticism. I'm a pretty casual reader. I've got some charts for Christian films I can post too if anyone is interested.

Has anyone read Diarmaid MacCulloch? Apparently he rejected being ordained as an Anglican priest because they had a "hostile stance" on homosexuals so I'm kind of wary to read his books. Is it sjw revisionist history?

i read some of his 'a history of christianity', its not terrible but he does insert his opinions alot, its more of a 'pop' history book than a strictly scholarly one

I made one awhile ago, but looking back, it's kind of shit.
