The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Is communism reconcilable with scripture? Did the apostles practice communism?

(Acts 4:32-35)

1fc831  No.708845

By Economic policies, perhaps it is possible

By Social policies, never, because its modus opperandi will always be "religion is opiate of masses"

Having a capital=/=capitalism

Sharing with others what you got out of love and not by force=/=communism

Ideologies are enemies of God’s order for the most part.

You see, the reason why communism didn't work is human corruption.

The people who promised to solve the struggles of the working class, decided to abuse and exploit the working class even further instead.

So real communism HAS BEEN TRIED, but human shortcomings turned it into a living nightmare.

If we could turn humanity into a better species, communism might just possibly work.

>shitstorm incoming

I tried having a rational debate on this once, OP, and it turned into a ragefest with some orthbros presumably fmr-Bloc Orthbros rather than just commie-hating Amerifats comprehensively unwilling to even countenance the smallest acceptability to communism.

The ideal was meritorious. The implementation appalling. Frankly I do not believe any -ism can be ultimately successful because they will always run afoul of that most fundamental of forces: human nature, which is debased and selfish, and if it's not (((the economically powerful))) deliberately corrupting the political state for their own ends and stealing by legal means what does not belong to them, it's megalomaniacs killing every apparatchik who comes close too close to power in their imagination.

Thus, I nod at Paine's observation:

>If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary.

This understanding, to my mind, is the best foundation of governmental theory.

>Not being redpilled on Communism

>communism didn't work

It did. It was made to genocide Europeans and it worked.

It was made to destroy Christianity and it partly worked but there is a revival of Christianity in Russia and Eastern Europe, but capitalism stiffles the revival.

Communist propaganda talks a lot about "muh worker" "muh justice" but look at what they did to Christians. Look what they did to Russians, Ukrainians, the whole Europe. My blood boils in my veins when christians go around praising communist ideology, saying people are corrupt so it does not work. It works, enemies of God created it, my people suffered under it a lot.

So please read Solzhenitsyn or other literature about it, read Marx the communist manifesto. Marx specifically says communism aims to destroy family, nation and religion. Your view is errorneous and short sighted because you do not have any information besides "muh socialism, muh it does not work, praise capitalism".

Christianity and communism have absolutely NOTHING IN COMMON.

nothing.

This. Jesus asked us to be charitable and to love each other, but I'd hardly call pointing a gun at someone who can't afford to help others a charitable and loving act.

communism incurs a latae sententiae excommunication, so no, it is wholly incompatible with christianity.

Somehow this is often overlooked in favor of "muh equality"

>>708841

If anything that sounds more like Christian anarchism. Jacques Ellul wrote a lot about the topic but I guess it never really caught on. Or there are intentional communities of Christians that sort of work like that.

Probably not Christian but last night an Argentine travel tv segment came on showing Christiania, the Danish anarchist commune.

While I agree with your points, I recommend not to use prager u in the future since It has somewhat of bad reputation, and It might lead some to dismiss your argument right off the bat.

>I recommend not to use prager u in the future since It has somewhat of bad reputation, and It might lead some to dismiss your argument right off the bat.

Well, mainly Prager is a fairly boring US righty, who would automatically only turn off easily offended liberals/SJWs (same thing) or communists. Neither of which are going to accept any gommie results in the first place unless they arrive at the conclusion themselves. People like finding out on their own that they are wrong, they react badly to being told they are wrong (unless they already respect the authority telling them that).

Minor fix.

3b9b08  No.708991

Christian communism is unnessecary. If a true christian community comes together, then they should practice charity naturally to the extent that everyone is looked after, without the usual coercion of communist governments.

Im more a strasserite tbh
