The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

give me the rundown

Feser wrote a book about the death penalty (https://www.amazon.com/Man-Shall-His-Blood-Shed/dp/1621641260). DBH reviewed it here: https://www.commonwealmagazine.org/christians-death-penalty and then Feser responded http://www.catholicworldreport.com/2017/11/28/hot-air-versus-capital-punishment-a-reply-to-paul-griffiths-and-david-bentley-hart/

Feser's argumentation was cautious, precise, and level headed. Hart's piece was essentially "REEEEEEE!" on an academic level.

Heretic who tries to word his heresy to where it doesn't seem like it is heresy (but it is).

What are some of his heresies? I've heard he is a perennialist so that might be one. What else?

Haven't read any of his books (after reading some of his articles i have no interest in doing so) but he's always struck me as a pompous academic

In his book "A History of Christianity" he claims that the writers of the Bible stole the concept of life after death from the Zoroastrians. I don't know how you can be a Christian and believe something like that.

some kind of Universalism if you believe that to be heresy
