Wow two things God destroyed as soon as the Pope gained any actual global influence. Both sets of documents were used to reign in Bishops who were preaching heresy and protected the Church from secular powers for a long time.
God allows evil so that a greater good may come of it.
You wait for the Church to be wounded and then you throw out your snares to capture those who follow the faith. Shame on you all. Shame on the Orthodox who try to drag Catholics away for secular reasons, shame to the Protestants who do not take part in his most holy Eucharist who dare question our faith. Look inside yourself before you speak out against your brother the Lord's wrath will reach us all and I pray for your soul when the day comes. Any Catholics who feel they are actually wavering in the faith check yourselves. The Church has withstood the Gates of Hell for 2000 years and will withstand it as long as it takes for our Lord to return. The Church wants you but the Church has no need for those willing to compromise the faith and the Church has no need for those unwilling to die for the faith. If you are considering leaving over any scandal then you would be better to apostatize then taint another denomination. Those who have faith in the Lord are my brothers but those who allow their faith to waver and refuse to search their own soul first are like strangers to me.
