The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Whats your opinion on the different types (non tradition, jew encrusted, traditional i.e Brass, steel plain ones, etc) of cross necklaces out there and which one would you guys recommend?

I've been after one that is more traditional in style but doesn't look like its out of Grandmas jewelry box (Brass, steel with a golden brushed finish). I've had my eye on the black one (picture related) but i just feel like its too much of a non traditional style maybe.

What would you guys recommend? Other pictures related, just other examples off of Amazon

Meant to say "Jewel Encrusted" Instead of "Jew encrusted"

Turn to Catholicism and use a crucifix. The normal cross doesn't keep the devil away.

I wasn't aware there is a difference between the two?

Satan can't stand Christ, due to his perversions.

True, I will try to find a crucifix that i like. Thanks for the input Anon.

I wasn't aware the meaning or symbolism was actually different between the two.

Simple and small silver or wood. Holy yet humble. Visible, but not so obnoxiously large nor vain.

I don't even keep it around my neck, I keep it in my pocket and clutch it during prayer (It's a prayer rope). I show my faith in other ways and in the place where I live it's best not to draw attention.

We Orthodox wear crucifixes as well.

>The normal cross doesn't keep the devil away.

Now you're just being autistic.

I wear my baptismal brass cross. Its pointy and sometimes hurts. But wearing it also makes me very happy for some reason.

>The normal cross doesn't keep the devil away.

Does this have its place on autism spectrum?
