The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I've heard many tragedies, but none is as tragic as this, truly. Why did God keep them alive? Does He have a plan for them?

Sin has consequences. Some are really bad.

They were just dumb, honestly. Didn't aim right. Grim but true.

Hopefully they find God and accept his forgiveness if they hadn't already.

Macabre as it sounds, I don't see how surviving makes them not just immediately (well, after recovering) try again.

Well it’s pretty to try again when your face is missing, or at least that’s what I would imagine. Then again, having half your face barely hanging on does give initiative to try again if you have the strength(not advocating to do it again, use your second chance God gave you).

Was Jesus crucified for sinning too? I think both really good and really bad deeds have really ugly consequences, that's what makes us afraid to do either, but you can't have a place in heaven without fulfilling your responsibility.

Yeah, this is what I fear about them. They did this in the first place because they had no will to live, and why wouldn't they try it again when their problems arise tenfolds? I don't know, God's plans seem really crazy to us.

Suicide is a sin that can easily land you in hell. They have been given a second chance to repent, to die from natural causes, and have their bodies and souls restored in paradise. A life of struggle and pain is nothing compared to what awaits us in the furnace, should we stumble, and the grapes of heaven are sweeter than any earthly bliss.

Shooting yourself to the side or back of your head is more effective I think. A shotgun or a rifle is also better than a pistol.

Jesus was crucified because our sin was out on him. Our sin is what killed him

You should waste your money on keeping your old rotting body alive but not curing it since its impossible. Then you can die a humiliating death while everyone around you is disturbed by it.

But dont you ever euthanize yourself. Ever.

Of course it's everyone else's sins that torture the saints. Christ was simply fulfilling His responsibility, and so did the saints.

I think it's not quantum physics that life feels worse with a damaged body.

OP, are you saying that God was wrong in giving those people a chance to repent and avoid spending eternity in hell? Reported and saged
