Glad to hear you want to learn more. If you haven't yet, I suggest you try reaching out to Christ. Try praying to Jesus (even if it feels odd) and asking him to help you find your way and grow closer to God. Maybe also try reading the Gospels, keeping in mind that there will be some things that appear confusing at first.
As for your question, I don't think it matters at this point. The points upon which your choice would hang are (I presume) meaningless to you right now since you haven't learned much of what Christianity is about.
For example: while I find the Roman church appealing, there are certain beliefs it holds that I can't in good faith accept, such as Mary's immaculate conception and transubstantiation. But what do these matter to someone who has yet to learn the Gospel at all? They can only distract you from Christ at this point.
Both of these churches are orthodox (little 'o') and a reliable starting point for somebody who wants to learn more. You may also try a large protestant church (like the Lutheran church) if you want; but I recommend against walking into a random non-denominational or unaffiliated 'baptist' church since you don't really know what you'll get (less of an issue if you're not in America). If you end up coming to faith, then down the road you can decide how you feel about the differences between churches.
In short, just pick one. And pursue a relationship with Christ!
