Several hundred Roman Catholic priests in Pennsylvania were accused of sexually abusing more than a thousand children, a grand jury report on Tuesday said, in an alleged “cover-up” described as “sophisticated” by the state’s attorney general.

Wuerl defended himself, releasing a statement Tuesday that said he had “acted with diligence, with concern for the victims and to prevent future acts of abuse.”
Over the course of a two year investigation, launched by Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s office, a grand jury heard several witness statements and pored over documents from six dioceses in the state.
Those dioceses included Allentown, Erie, Greensburg, Harrisburg, Pittsburgh and Scranton. Upwards of 300 "predator priests" stand accused of the decades-long abuse, the report said.
“The cover-up was sophisticated. And all the while, shockingly, church leadership kept records of the abuse and the cover-up,” Shapiro said at a news conference. “These documents, from the dioceses' own 'Secret Archives,' formed the backbone of this investigation.”
It’s possible that the “real number” of abused children could be “in the thousands” due to missing records or other victims who feared speaking about the allegations, according to the grand jury’s report.
In order to prevent the Catholic Church from suffering bad publicity or financial liability, the panel claimed that a series of bishops and other diocesan leaders attempted to hide the alleged abuse.

The reason: Masonic/Satanist and Communist/Atheist infiltration of the Church in the 20s and 30s, where thousands upon thousands of homosexuals were recruited by agents to enter the priesthood. Once there, they used blackmail, extortion, influence-peddling, and nepotism to become bishops, cardinals, and infiltrate other leadership positions. From there they took control of the seminaries and began actively recruiting other homosexuals, grooming young-boys for rape, and actively discriminating against healthy, normal men; going so far as to kick them out of the seminaries for being "regressive" and "psychologically unhealthy" if they refused to commit sodomy with their teachers and superiors.
They then used these tactics to create a massive mafia-like class of prelates in the Church where basically everyone had either engaged in sodomy, or had looked the other way, and so everyone could be blackmailed to some degree or another. Anyone that tried to speak out against this was actively targeted by Catholic and secular media and destroyed; some were killed. They began keeping detailed personnel files on every seminarian and priest that detailed their sins, psychological struggles, spiritual fears, etc.
So let's say a young man enters the seminary and admits that he had a girlfriend and they slept together a few times and that he sometimes struggles with lust. If he doesn't play along, and they can't kick him out, the sodomite bishop will "punish" him by assigning him to be the priest at an All-Girls highschool and then recruiting young women to tempt the priest. If he falls to the temptation, even once, then he is blackmail-able, and now they can control him.
Eventually this has become so bad that the majority of bishops and cardinals are either sodomitic predators or enablers. Very few of them believe in God, and some of them are actually full-on Satanists who perform black-masses and sacrifice children. This was all a concerted, pre-planned, and cold-blooded strategy.
The strategy did not stop there. They also used the Council of Vatican 2 and the subsequent Papacies to slowly erode the Traditional Liturgy and Beliefs of the Church. The Latin Mass was effectively banned and the Novus Ordo Mass was forced upon the people, and purposefully made as banal, facile, childish, and confusing as possible. Beautiful churches were "renovated" to become more like hotel conference rooms, ancient marble altars were ripped up and broken into pieces and replaced with ugly, wooden tables and the ancient and classical architecture of the cathedrals was replaced with ugly, meaningless "modern art" looking boxes. Nuns were encouraged to drop their habits, priests were encouraged to wear street clothes, and the laity were no longer expected to wear nice clothing to Church, no longer expected to remain silent during Mass, and novelties like holding hands during the Our Father, female readers, Extraordinary ministers of Communion, etc. were introduced. All in an effort to destroy Tradition and weaken the Faith and Communal connection.
Then came the next step: Because all of this was an effort to destroy the Church; the secular media now needed to "switch sides" and begin "exposing" the pedophilia scandals inside the Church. They began to pick a few "expendable" bishops and priests and selectively leaked this information. The media blasted out these accusations (mostly credible, some not) and made it into a 24-hour scandal. This further weakened the image and Faith of the laity and scandalized the non-Catholic Christians. They also used false accusations to put pressure on the few good priests and bishops, and who would believe they were innocent, after so many scandals?
