The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Is civil disobedience towards an atheistic state a sin? I live in northern Europe and the government is funding organizations and events propagating the dissolution of marriage, christian values and social norms. Would it be wrong to avoid paying taxes if I donate the money to Caritas instead?

On the same note, is it wrong to freeride the commuter train? The state company that runs it is financially supporting the degenerate Pride festival and I feel my money would do a lot better in Caritas rather than supporting the disruption of family values. My city is basically dependent on public transport and I can't really afford a car right now so that is not an option.

I know Jesus told us to render unto Caesar what is Caesars but how can I be content knowing my tax money is financing homosexuality and abortions when I easily could make sure it goes to better causes.

Martyrs disobeyed Emperor and got executed so no, not always. But

>I know Jesus told us to render unto Caesar what is Caesars but how can I be content knowing my tax money is financing homosexuality and abortions when I easily could make sure it goes to better causes.

and Christians payed taxes that went to slaughtering Christians on coliseums.

Yes but who says this was the right thing to do? I think few would argue it wrong to put up non-violent or even violent resistance if you were a citizen of the Third Reich. The number of abortions in my country is not far from the yearly euthanasia victims in ww2 germany.

Pay your taxes and do what is good. Don't participate in the gay rallies, but if you deal with your country's currency and don't live in the jungle, then pay your taxes. This is not so that your government may benefit, but so that you will glorify God and remove people's excuses on judgement day regarding their usage of good people's money.

so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

The Lord does not call you to violently overthrow anyone because he will do it himself in time. You should be jealous and hapuppy for those who went before you for they have entered the kingdom of God.

I've never seen any saint recommending fiscal strikes for the gov being retarded.

And trust me, we've had a looooot of opportunities for countries using tax money to fund anti-christian bs.
