The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

I've been lurking around here for a while and I don't want to make another denomination wars thread, but I am in desperate need of advice and guidance and I ask for it in good faith, in conformity with board rules, which I hope the people answering will respect as well.

I want to go to Church and worship God along fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, but I find it impossible to affiliate with any denomination out of fear of practicing wrong doctrine and displeasing God by doing so.

I have reviewed, time and time again the doctrinal differences between the various denominations and I have arguments for and against all major ones.

I'm lost and I don't know what to do in this situation. I always pray, read and study the Bible along with some history of the Church completely alone in my home.

I was born and baptized as a member of the Orthodox Church, in a country that is 81% Orthodox Christian.

Read Church Fathers. Cannot go wrong when believing in what those teached by apostles believed. And then BEGOME GADOLIG

Perhaps I really should give it a complete read.

Until now I only read parts of it I found online.

I think you are right about historical accuracy when it comes to Church, but what I've encountered so far confused me even more.
