I feel like certain values in the bible can easily lead people into wrong conclusions giving them push over or the kind of behavior that leads someone into being used.

9 A lack of self-respect
<You don't seem to feel it when people bump into you, and you close your eyes to these awkward moments. However, someone who is rude by nature won't love or respect you for that
<If someone behaves in a way that they don't give a damn about you, it means they really don't. Don't look for excuses for rude people - they don't deserve it. Always respect yourself.
4. Being deaf to your interests
<You've become accustomed to adjusting to other people's needs and find it difficult to understand what your desires are. You don't decide what you do for yourself. Instead, you take others' wishes for your own. You should know it's far from the definition of kindness.
>Learn to listen to your desires, and don't be afraid of offending others. Normally, our fears don't have a basis in reality, and it's always possible to find compromise.
3. you don't limit what's acceptable
<You forgive others because it's easier to do so than to stand up for yourself. When other people show disrespect towards you, you find an excuse for them in your mind.
>You need to determine the limits of acceptable behavior, and don't let others overstep these boundaries. People who agree to anything are not respected.
>Proverbs 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love.
>Matthew 18:21-22 Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.
>>Matthew 5:38-48
>38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
>43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
