Due to our fallen nature man is prone to many sins. I am prone to wrathfulness and I sin when I give in to it. A man who has homosexual urges sins when he gives in them. I think a big problem these days is that homosexuality gets put up on a pedestal because society never shuts up about it.

I could go on and on. God literally makes you nothing, in terms of one's sinful impulses. All of us are "born with" some cross to bear because of the Fall. Even if you're "born" with a particular cross, it's not an excuse to drop it.

Because even if homosexuality is somewhat biological (which we are not entirely certain about to begin with), it also has a heavy cultural basis, which is why there are tribes which have never even heard of or cannot understand what homosexuality is.

It is the same with a lot of genetic defects, like psychopathy. A lot of the time they will only be activated if the cultural/social conditions trigger them.

Jesus loves you, Anon. Everyone gets a cross. Our crosses are the ships which will carry us to heaven if we embrace them. Yours might be a little more embarrassing than others, but others are bigger or hurt more to carry. Jesus weighed your cross out before the world began, specifically fitting it to you. He knows you better than you know yourself, so you should be super confident that you can definitely carry it with his help.

Remember that the best way we know that Jesus loved us is that he died for us while we were still sinners. Embracing suffering, and especially death, for someone else proves your love for them. So I suggest that you go on NOT sinning, and every day try to make your soul more and more beautiful to Jesus by bringing him all your pain and desire and asking him to help you with it. If you do that faithfully, and live a life of purity of body and soul, then when your short time down here is up, you'll have forever and ever to spend with the best friend you could ever imagine, okay?
