It doesn't. Christian life has a different view of what constitutes success and achievement though. A poor man who devotes his life to helping other people is more successful in Gods eyes than a rich miser who never lifts a finger for his fellow man, and they will both get what they deserve in the life after this.

Do not believe in the hypocrisy of the world. One day a man will teach that you need a good education to become successful. That same man on another day will teach that happiness and fulfilment is not found in money.

Believe in Christ and you will be saved. The Christians are already 'successful'.
