6 Q. What does the Third Commandment forbid?

A. The Third Commandment forbids servile works and any other works that hinder the worship of God.

9 Q. Is no servile work at all permitted on festivals?

A. On festivals those works are permitted which are necessary for life, or for the service of God; as well as those done for a grave reason, with leave, when possible, from the Pastor.

11 Q. What else above all should we avoid on festivals?

A. We should above all avoid sin and whatever leads to sin, such as dangerous diversions and dangerous places of amusement.

The sabbath is the seventh day of the week. If you look at your calander the way it is structured saturday ends up being the seventh day of the week. Now that said

Do not do the opposite of "well".

Saturday is the day of rest. Sunday is the day of feasting and rejoicing.

Fast.

Kneel or prostrate during the liturgy (although this is allowed by economy in a lot of parishes nowadays because 1) prostration is done more out of respect for the eucharist than out of penitence, and 2) people can't really go to weekday services anymore, where they would normally prostrate).

Be in lament.

Not go to church.

Not pay attention at church.

We don't do the Sabbath on Saturdays anymore but we still avoid excessive partaking in secular things, and the Orthodox do not fast either.
